Kelechi Iheanacho, a Leicester club striker's goal-scoring prowess has been recognized.

Leicester City's goal of the season was scored by Kelechi Iheanacho against Crystal Palace, the Foxes defeated the Eagles 2-1, thanks to Iheanacho's brilliant left-footed finish after receiving a pass from Jonny Evans.


Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and head coach Brendan Rodgers presented the award to the Nigerian striker. 

This season, Iheanacho was one of Leicester's best players. Before the season's final game on Sunday, the 24-year-old has 19 goals and seven assists, he was a former Manchester City player but was instrumental in Leicester's first FA Cup victory, scoring against Brighton, Manchester United, and Southampton.

No player in the Premier League has a higher goal per game ratio than the Nigerian international in this season.
