With the rumored purchase of Ibrahima Konate from Red Bull Leipzig now appearing to be a done deal, Liverpool fans will be expecting for a busy summer for the Reds, with some expecting for the arrival of another forward. Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has also been linked with Liverpool.
Chukwueze had previously been linked with a move to Anfield, but Liverpool decided to sign Diogo Jota in October. Despite the addition of Jota, Liverpool still require more support and competition for their regular front three, particularly now that Divock Origi appears to be on the move this summer.
The Nigerian forward has spent his entire senior career with Villarreal, having joined the club from their youth team in 2018. He has appeared in 119 La Liga games for the club, scoring 17 times. Chukwueze has also played 19 times for Nigeria, an impressive number for a 22-year-old, and was named the national team's young player of the year in 2018.

Chukwueze has an 80 million euro release clause. This could be a major stumbling block for clubs like Liverpool looking to sign him, as the price tag for a player his age is quite high.
The winger has played an important role in the Spanish team's season, including helping them reach the Europa League final against Manchester United.
