Taiwo Awoniyi, the Liverpool loanee has spent much of 2021 on the bench, but on Saturday he played his 21st and final game of the season.
On the final day of the 2020/2021 Bundesliga season, Taiwo Awoniyi came off the bench to help Union Berlin defeat RB Leipzig 2-1.
The 23-year-old has been plagued by injuries this season, but he made his 21st league appearance for the capital club, which will likely be his last.
Awoniyi is on loan at Union from Liverpool, but the Nigerian is set to return to Anfield after finally receiving a work permit to play in England.
However, he was able to end his stay with the Iron Ones on a high as they came back from a goal down to beat Leipzig.
