Barcelona offer "Philippe Countinho" to liverpool on free transfer

Liverpool have reportedly been offered the opportunity to re-sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona on a free transfer this summer.

The Brazilian attacker moved from Merseyside to Catalonia in January 2018 for a nine-figure fee, but his two-and-a-half year stay at Camp Nou has been underwhelming.

Coutinho was given a new lease on life by Ronald Koeman at the start of the 2020-21 season, but a serious knee injury ruled him out for the second half of the season, and Barcelona are thought to be open to offers.
