The former Golden Eaglets star has waited a long time to play in the English Premier League, but he now has the chance to do so.
Taiwo Awoniyi, a Liverpool midfielder, will be able to play in the English Premier League next season after being granted a work permit in the UK.
Awoniyi joined the Reds in 2015, but he has yet to appear in an official game for Jurgen Klopp's team due to a lack of a work permit.
Taiwo Awoniyi has signed a new long-term contract with #LFC.

The Nigerian attacker's contract with Liverpool expires in 2023, but he has spent every season since then on loan at various clubs in order to gain enough experience to secure a work permit.
Awoniyi, who is currently on loan at Union Berlin, has now received his permit and will be able to play in England next season.
The former Dream Team striker struggled for the majority of his loan spells at various clubs, but he appears to have found his feet at Union Berlin.
Awoniyi has five goals and three assists in 21 league games for Union Berlin this season, despite returning from a three-month layoff last weekend.
