The club announced the signing of the 20-year-old on a short-term contract that will last until the end of the season.

If he impresses the team with his performance, a permanent contract would most definitely be on the table on August 30th.

Last season, while at FC Ifeanyi Ubah, he drew the attention of NPFL fans with a brace against Warri Wolves and a solitary goal against Enyimba.

Torgeir Bjarmann, the Norwegian side's Sporting Director, said they had been scouting the forward for a while and described him as a player with good speed and strength.

"Uche has been scouted for quite some time. We've just been looking for the right time to get him in. When he is in the cage, he has good pace and is strong due to his weight ", he told the club's official website.

Uche responded by promising to give his all during his initial three months at the club in the hopes of earning a longer contract. "I'm going to give one hundred percent and do the best I can to better the team," he said in his first official interview for the team's website.
